Did I just waste nearly 200 bucks on a Kistler Magnesium Fishing Rod?

I love my Daiwa Light & Tough TL-661-5RB (6'6" Heavy) rod. It has served me well all season, but I just spent some Christmas money on the Kistler Magnesium Chatterbait rod (6'10" MH) for spinners, chatters, booyah boogie, etc...It is rated for Senkos and flukes too, but I hope it holds up as well as the Daiwa L&T has. :O
I don't mean to brag, and I do fish in tournaments. Feeling the nibbles in paramount.

Kids spend so much more on PS3's and XBOX 360's anyway.
I just hate to spend a lot of money on crap products, when the Light & Tough is awesome and costs less. That's all...just wanting some feedback from users/ fellow fisherman. Thanks though.

$200 for a quality rod is not that much these days in fact if you averaged the cost of the higher priced rods out from most top manufacturers you will see that average to be closer to $229-249. Obviously custom rods built on Loomis or Croix blanks costs significantly more. Since you tourney fish you will enjoy the light weight of a Kistler after fishing all day.
